I reviewed a big new Queer Theory Reader (in German)

Although some are by now almost 35 years old, a lot of the classic texts of Queer Theory were either never translated into German or the translations are extremely hard to find. This has, as a rule, not stopped people from having opinions about these texts. Ben Trott and Mike Laufenberg did the amazing and overdue work of putting together a group of representative texts with a deeply researched introduction — and I got to review the book (which appeared with Suhrkamp this month) for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.
