The Feminist Present is back for Season 3!

For the next twelve weeks we’ll be releasing the third season of The Feminist Present. While we have fascinating guests lined up on a number of topics, we will also have a series we are calling our 90s Feminist Film Club. Basically we got brilliant feminist intellectuals to talk us through some of the seminal, embarrassing, bonkers films of the 90s that deal with gender and sexuality — future episodes will focus on Miss Congeniality (2000), Now and Then (1995), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Bram Stoker’s Dracula (with a cameo by Interview with the Vampire), and Clueless (1995). Our first episode is a two-parter on the career of Leonardo DiCaprio — from eternal kid to teen heartthrob and Scorcese muse. Check it out here.
