Hermann Nitsch passed away this week. I had the good fortune to meet Hermann a number of times, and to write on his interesting, challenging, at times frustrating oeuvre several times. So I was glad when Zeit Online asked me to reflect on this singular artist’s unusual legacy. I did so here.
