The second season of The Feminist Present starts with author Morgan Jerkins

Morgan Jerkins is an author, editor and essayist. Her first book, the essay collection This Will Be My Undoing, was published in 2018 and became a New York Times bestseller. Her new book, Wandering in Strange Lands, is a travelogue and a family memoir about the Great Migration of African Americans from the South to points north and west. On the first episode of the second season of The Feminist Present, Adrian and Laura talk to Morgan about memory and family, about travel and race, and about the responsibilities of the essayist and the reporter to their subjects.
