An essay of mine has appeared in the edited collection “Shadows of Enlightenment”

This exciting, if unfortunately pricey volume of essays about the fate of tragedy during the Age of Reason, contains brilliant essays by a whole slew of specialists, working on English, French, German and Spanish literature. It was edited by Blair Hoxby and appeared with the Ohio State University Press. If you are trying to learn about tragedy, and maybe burn through some bitcoin in the process, you can buy the volume here.
